Operations

Eleven systems, one closed loop

The complex is composed of eleven principal asset systems, each engineered to interact with the others to create a closed-loop agro-industrial cluster.

Centre-pivot irrigation over a green field for year-round farming
01 · Farming Centre

Modern mechanised, year-round farming

Centre-pivot irrigation — proven across Nigerian conditions for over two decades — is the primary irrigation technology, combined with mechanised land preparation, planting and harvesting for consistent year-round yields.

CropHectares (mature)Annual output
Sugar cane (irrigated)15,000up to 1,800,000 MT
Maize / corn (irrigated 2×)8,950~64,000 MT

02 · Sugar Cane Mill

A 5,000 TCD turnkey sugar complex

Engineered by Uttam Sucrotech International — an EPC house with 100+ turnkey sugar projects worldwide — the mill delivers cane preparation and milling, juice clarification, evaporation and crystallisation, a 220 MT/day white-sugar refinery, a 400 TCD jaggery line, molasses storage with ethanol-distillery integration, and bagasse-fired co-generation.

Covered feed alleys with mechanical feeding at the livestock centre
03 · Feedlot & Livestock Centre

20,000-head capacity, ~60,000 head a year

Modelled on tested commercial designs at AWAA's and JIL's existing facilities, the feedlot features covered feed alleys, mechanical feed delivery by mixer wagon, steel working corrals and a veterinary clinic. Three cycles a year deliver roughly 60,000 head — plus custom-feeding for up to 20,000 outgrower cattle.

The Complete Complex

Processing, energy and enablement

04 · Dairy Operations

A 2,500-head dairy with attached calf nursery and a 100-head rotary parlour, with on-site pasteurisation and processing into cheese, ice cream and butter — distributed through established national cold-chain channels.

05 · Meat Packing Plant — Kwara State

A packing plant in Kwara State sized for 400 head of cattle and 1,000 ruminants per day, with refrigerated warehouse and cold storage, built on a proven JIL Farms design — supporting domestic FMCG offtake and future halal-certified export potential.

06 · Feed Mill & Grain Centre

Processes grain output and farm residues into rations for cattle, poultry and aquaculture, co-located with grain storage and drying to cut post-harvest losses and capture seasonal pricing.

07 · Bio-Energy Plants

An ethanol distillery, a 15,000 L/day biodiesel plant, vegetable-oil pressing (160 MT/day maize, 15 MT/day each soya and groundnut) and 10 million m³/yr of biogas fuelling on-site power.

08 · Fresh-Pack Vegetable Plant

Vegetables and fruits washed, graded and packed for modern-retail and HORECA channels — capturing a premium and reducing the 30–40% post-harvest losses typical of smallholder produce.

09 · Power Supply

A resilient architecture combining on-site biogas generation, bagasse-fired co-generation from the sugar mill, a high-voltage grid connection and diesel back-up for critical refrigeration and processing loads.

10 · Training Centre

Developed in partnership with universities, delivering practical modern-mechanised curricula to Nigerian youth, technicians and outgrowers, and supporting community extension services.

11 · Outgrower Programme

Aggregates 30,000 hectares of smallholder land through structured contract farming — providing mechanisation, improved inputs, agronomy support, guaranteed indexed offtake and access to custom feeding.
